I am - Your daily boost of self-belief.

I AM. Such powerful two words. It is not easy to remember sometimes, that we ourselves are in control of our own thoughts, our own actions, our own feelings and responses in life. Sure, there might be external influences, and we might let our mind be stirred by them, influenced by other people, other perceptions, society's unwritten patterns and by the ways we are "supposed to live".


But let me tell you, the most important person in your life is you. And you have full control of how you want to live and who you want to be. No one can take your time from you, your creativity, your happiness, your ideas, your thoughts, your feelings, your emotions or your love. All these make up who you are. How much do you allow yourself to be you, to be the you that is pure, honest and unique?


You might think, of course I am me, of course I know who I am. But think again. Who's opinions do you value, who's behaviour do you copy, who's ambition do you look up to, who's career would you like to have, who's success story would you like to live, who would you like to look like, or be like?


We are all impacted by the people around us, the people we grew up with and the people that are present in our lives right now. It is not easy to break patterns of thought, to find true happiness within us, without needing to buy that new gadget, handbag or car. Without needing the confirmation of others and without needing to prove ourselves to others in the way we think they appreciate us.


The opportunities are plenty, but learning about yourself first, is the first and most important step. Learning about your own desires, your own beliefs, your own patterns of thought - and then to find happiness that cannot be broken by anyone that has been, is or will be in your life.
